The Three Headed Monkey Awards are the international annual UPC awards where the most representative personalities from the video game industry honor the best amateur game projects.

This year, our CEO’s attended the ceremony and were invited to give a speech about Social Point’s trajectory; from the foundation of the company to how we have grown to become one of the best companies of the online video game industry.

Social Point took part on Barcelona Fòrum TI Last April 18^th

The forum was organized by the FIB (Facultat d’Informàtica de Barcelona – Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) and was a great opportunity for Social Point to meet Barcelona’s computing students.

There was a booth representing the company where our HR staff and some of our developers (who studied there!) could explain personally their experience at Social Point, our future projects and our currently vacancies.

Students who came to the booth and solved the “Social Point Challenge” correctly entered a draw to win a New iPad! The winner will be announced next week.

Our booth was a huge success and was one of the most visited of the event. Everyone – both students and team – enjoyed a lot this experience.

Today is a very special day in Catalonia. To celebrate Saint George’s day, we gave a rose to the ladies inspired by the legend of Saint George, who slew the dragon, saved the princess and gave her a rose that grew from the dragon’s blood. To keep up the tradition, this morning all the ladies at Social Point found a beautiful rose at their desk.

Also, we would like to congratulate all the Georges at the company, we have three of them! And thank them for the lovely cake they brought to celebrate this special day!
